Federal aviation officials are investigating a United Airlines pilot's report that his aircraft reportedly struck a drone while landing at San Diego International Airport on Wednesday morning.

On Thursday at Fort Bragg, 20 paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division trained with a new counter-drone system. This training is part of the Department of War's efforts to improve defenses against aerial threats.
